Η Οσία Ματρώνα ήταν Μικρασιάτισσα Χριστιανή από τα Χιόνια της Πάφου που γεννήθηκε στο δεύτερο μισό του 3ου αιώνα μ.Χ. και πέθανε ήδη ενάρετη. Λόγω της συνεχούς διώξεως από τον παγανιστή πατέρα της, κατέφυγε στην Καππαδοκία της Μικράς Ασίας, όπου ανήγειρε ναό προς τιμήν των Αγίων Ταξιαρχών και έζησε ασκητικό βίο. Μετά την επιστροφή της στην πατρίδα της, συνέχισε να δείχνει αγιότητα και πίστη, γεγονός που την έκανε να μείνει γνωστή ως «η Μικρασιάτισσα». Το λείψανό της μεταφέρθηκε αργότερα στο Άγιο Όρος και, σύμφωνα με την παράδοση, ταυτίστηκε με τη «Ματρώνα της Χίου», αν και αυτό αμφισβητείται ιστορικά. Τέλος, η μνήμη της τιμάται από την Ορθόδοξη Εκκλησία στις 9 Νοεμβρίου.

Η Οσία Ματρώνα ήταν Μικρασιάτισσα Χριστιανή από τα Χιόνια της Πάφου που γεννήθηκε στο δεύτερο μισό του 3ου αιώνα μ.Χ. και πέθανε ήδη ενάρετη.
